eyeo imaging announces the appointment of Juha Alakarhu as Technical Advisor

Eyeo imaging welcomes Juha Alakarhu as Technical Advisor, bringing decades of experience in imaging innovation to the company.

Juha currently leads camera imaging research and development systems at public safety technology leader Axon’s R&D office in Finland. Prior to Axon, he held senior leadership roles at Nokia and Microsoft, developing multiple pioneering smartphone camera technologies such as oversampling, optical image stabilization, new image processing methods, and high-performance optics.

Juha is also a technical advisor at Prophesee and Polight, he holds a PhD from Tampere University of Technology.
